Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s brother reveals IPOB next line of action-[Read now]

Emmanuel, brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has stated that the group will forge ahead with its agitation.
He insisted that IPOB is non-violent yet strong and will not be intimidated.

“Freedom is not given by the oppressor; it is seized by the oppressed. As long as what we do is in line with international laws, we will continue with the struggle (for an independent state of Biafra)”, he told Punch.

“We remain a non-arms-carrying group and also a non-violent movement. We do not believe that carrying arms will ever solve any problem. We believe in genuine engagement; that’s what IPOB stands for.
“The leadership and the entire membership of IPOB are too intelligent to carry arms because we know that violence has never solved any problem, so we don’t believe in violence. This is Nnamdi Kanu’s ideology: we don’t give and we cannot take life. We don’t know anything about the said rifles.”

On the whereabouts of his father and brother, Emmanuel said Nigerians should ask the military.

“We strongly believe that the Nigerian Army whisked them away because since the day the soldiers invaded our house, we have not seen the duo and have not communicated with them. The army is in a better position to answer that question.
“They invaded our homes and took away many people – both the dead and the living. So, we are expecting them (the soldiers) to tell us their whereabouts. We have been asking questions about their whereabouts; we have yet to get any answer.

“So, we believe the invading soldiers are the right people to answer the question. They whisked away about 15 of them. They killed two of my cousins as well – they shot them dead in my compound.

“The whole thing started on the morning of September 14. First of all, they killed two of our ‘brothers’ in front of Diamond Bank, on Library Avenue, opposite Abia State Government House and took their remains away.

“After some investigations, we discovered that they took the corpses to a mortuary at Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area and dumped the bodies there. I have photographs to prove that. My community looks like a war zone up till now. People are being harassed and dehumanised by the soldiers every day.

“The soldiers are still in our community. We are still looking for some of our members in the community. Hopefully, before the end of the week we would have concluded on the number of people missing. If you visit my compound, you will discover that everywhere is covered with blood – even our dog, Jack, was shot dead.” Share to inform the world!!

Must Read: UK Attack Nigeria over Radio Biafra

The United Kingdom has blamed Nigeria for the continued operation of pirate Radio Biafra, which the Indigenous People of Biafra uses to preach hate against the country.
The radio station, domiciled in the UK, was established by the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra,  with Nnamdi Kanu as director.
Kanu, also a British citizen, operated the radio on behalf of MASSOB and later turned it into a megaphone of IPOB.

The British government seems not happy with reports credited to Nigeria’s Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, who insinuated that the UK had not shut down the radio station.
A terse statement released on Thursday by the Press and Public Affairs Officer, British High Commission in Nigeria, Mr. Joe Abuku, said, “The UK is not aware of any representation from Nigerian government about Radio Biafra.

“Were we to receive any such request, we would, of course, consider it carefully on the basis of the available evidence, recognising that freedom of speech and expression carry responsibilities.’’The minister recently accused some people in France and the United Kingdom of having links with the proscribed IPOB.
According to reports, Mohammed was quoted as saying that “the financial headquarters” of the separatist group “is in France.”
He faulted the UK for not doing something to stop Biafra Radio from airing over there. (NAN)

Biafra Agitators Being Deceived by Nnamdi Kanu Fr. Mbaka Speaks on Biafra

Outspoken Enugu-based Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has predicted what will likely happen should agitators succeed in their push for the actualisation of Biafra.

The fiery preacher who made the disclosure, stated that he was convinced that fault lines between different Igbo communities would arise if Biafra ever became a reality.

The priest made this prediction while addressing a cross section of Igbos in East London, on Tuesday. According to Mbaka’s statement; “If you think we have trouble in Nigeria now, we will see trouble in Biafra.

“No Anambra man would let an Enugu man be president, no Imo man would let an Abakaliki man be president”.

Mbaka also faulted claims that the South East is being marginalised. Citing the immediate past administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, the controversial priest said an Igbo was Finance Minister, Central Bank governor, and so on.

Mbaka also noted that those whom the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu have been able to influence into agitating for Biafra are “the children of the poor,” who are not thinking properly about the implications of secession.

He insisted Biafra agitators were being deceived by Nnamdi Kanu.
